Catholic Identity
Inspired by our faith in Jesus Christ to hope, love, learn and respond.
At St Catherine’s, our Catholic faith is at the heart of all we do. Inspired by Jesus Christ and St Catherine Labouré, we nurture students who hope, love, learn, and act with compassion and integrity. Faith guides our teaching, learning, and community life through Religious Education, prayer, liturgies, and sacramental programs. Students are encouraged to connect learning with faith, respect the dignity of others, and take part in social justice initiatives. By living our values of respect, responsibility, and resilience, we foster a supportive community where every child can grow spiritually, academically, and socially.
Religious Education
The Archdiocese Religious Education Framework supports the full flourishing of spiritual, physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of all learners.
“True to the mission of the Church, learning in a Catholic school seeks out the good in every person.”

Sacramental Program
The Sacramental Program aims to provide a balanced approach to growth in faith. To achieve this, the family, the parish and the school work together in partnership.
The Holy Trinity Parish offers a Family Centred, Parish Based and School and Catechist supported Sacramental Program.
The school focuses on the Sacramental Program in the following year levels:
Social Justice
At St Catherine’s, social justice is a key part of living our Catholic faith. Students learn to understand the needs of others, take action, and contribute positively to their community. Through partnerships with Holy Trinity Parish, Caritas, and St Vincent de Paul, they participate in projects supporting local and global communities. By leading initiatives, advocating for others, and linking learning to real-world experiences, students develop compassion, responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to making a difference. Social justice is woven through our curriculum, school life, and Religious Education programs
Holy Trinity Parish
Holy Trinity Parish is the Catholic parish community that includes St Catherine’s Church in Moorabbin, along with
St Peter’s (East Bentleigh) and St Paul’s (Bentleigh).
The parish welcomes families and individuals of all ages to grow together in faith through prayer, worship, the sacraments, and community life. At the heart of parish life is the celebration of the Eucharist, where parishioners gather to worship, give thanks, and be nourished by God’s word and the sacrament of Communion.
