Reconciliation Reflection Day
On Wednesday 8th March, all Year 3 students participated in a Reconciliation Reflection Day.
During the day students:
- Learnt about the 5 stages of Reconciliation
- Attended Parish Mass together
- Made a Reconciliation dot art frame as a memento of their special day
- Decorated their Sacramental Stole with an image of a heart representing ‘A Healing Heart’
Year 3 students not making their Reconciliation supported their classmates during the day.








Reconciliation Family Workshop
On Wednesday 8th March the Reconciliation candidates and their families participated in a family worship.
The families learnt about:
- The 7 Sacraments focusing the Healing Sacrament of Reconciliation
- Decorated their Reconciliation candle
- Learnt about the Rite of Reconciliation (Process/Steps)








First Reconciliation
Congratulations to the following students who made their First Reconciliation on Saturday, 18th March .
Thank you to Father Jacob who celebrated the Sacrament with the students and their families.










TERM 2 Confirmation- 2023 Important Dates
Year 6 students will be eligible to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2023
Sunday 30th April - 10.30am Parish Mass- Presentation of Candidates at St Catherine’s Mass- Family attends
Wednesday 3rd May - Confirmation Reflection Day for students at school
Wednesday 3rd May - 6.00pm Confirmation Family Workshop- St Catherine’s Learning Hub
Friday 26th May - Bishop Tony to visit Confirmation Candidates at St Peter’s
Sunday 28th May - 3:00pm Mass- Celebration of Confirmation- St Peter’s Church - Bishop Tony Ireland
An information Letter and Enrolment Form will be sent to eligible Year 6 students on Tuesday, 21st March.
Please return the Confirmation Enrolment form By Monday, 27th March.
Parents are welcome to attend Parish Mass (Whole School & Parish)
- 10.00am Wednesday 22nd March- Year 4JB/MD & Year 1/2CG
- 10.00am Wednesday 29th March- Year 3/4JB & Year 1/2TC
- 10.00am Wednesday 29th March- Year 5/6AT & Foundation (New date)
We encourage you to put your compassion into action this Lent through your prayer, fasting and almsgiving by supporting Project Compassion. Each family has received a Project Compassion box for your donations or you can donate online via the Caritas Australia website at: lent.caritas.org.au
If you choose to collect during Lent, please return the boxes to school so we can add the school donations to St Catherine's Parish Donations.
The 2023 Theme is ‘For All Future Generations’. This phrase is a powerful affirmation that the good we do today will extend and impact the lives of generations to come. It is also a call for all of us to play our part in making the world a better place by working together in finding long term solutions to global issues.
