St Catherine's Athletic Sports
Athletics2024.jpg
How fantastic were our Athletic Sports this year? The weather was perfect, the children participated beautifully and we have a new winning team for 2024.
Red were victorious this year with Gold, runner up and Blue coming in 3rd.

Our Ironwoman for 2024 is Alexis Kugler and our Ironman for 2024 is George Wilson, which is George's second title in 2 years. A fantastic achievement by both athletes. Runners up were June Wilson and Finn McGuire and 3rd placegetters were Maggie Willmott and Lachie Plas. A great effort by all as both races were very close.

Congratulations to Bella Costelloe, Lily Mae Boxer, George Wilson and Jimmy Bailey who won the Championship Relay. I'm sure this helped secure your victory on the day.

A huge thank you to the following people
Abbey Webster and the OLSH girls who were our judges this year. Abbey also transported our beautiful marquees and Troy assisted with set up. Thank you to those parents who assisted with pack up. Very much appreciated.
Jim Kokkalos who was our starter.

To all the parents, grandparents and friends who came to support our athletes.
We hope you enjoyed our carnival.
HOLT SPORTING EVENTS 2025
During 2025 St Catherine's competes in extra curricular sporting events against 8 other schools in our District.
Events are as follows; Holt Swimming Carnival, Holt Soccer LP, Holt Cross Country, Holt Interschool Sport, Holt Netball LP, Holt Football LP, Holt Athletics and Hooptime Basketball Competition.
Some are for 5/6 students only and others are open to children aged 9/10/11/12/ and 13.
When dates are confirmed further information will follow.

HOLT Swimming Carnival 2025
On Friday 21st February we will be competing in our first Holt event for 2025.
If your child is within the above age groups and can swim 50 metres with proficient stroke technique I would encourage your child/children to try out and have a go.
Children need to be timed over 50 metres in whatever stroke/s they are skilled in and then their times will be assessed. Fastest times will be selected.
I will be giving interested children a notice before the end of the year.
Further questions please contact me on

RUNNING CLUB 2025
I will be starting a Running Club for children in 2025.
More details to follow in 2025.
